The Family Law Self-Help Center provides legal information and forms to assist unrepresented litigants in matters of divorce, custody/visitation, child support and name changes. The Center is funded through a grant from the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, but is staffed entirely by the Legal Aid Bureau, Annapolis Office.

The Center is located within the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County Law Library, Suite 303, on the third floor (main entry floor).  

The Family Law Self Help Center, located in the Law Library at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Self Help Center will be staffed full-time with two (2) Attorneys. Also effective January 2, 2018, all telephone assistance will be provided by Maryland Courts Self-Help Center (410) 260-1392 (open 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday).  The following Walk-In and Telephone Hours are in effect until January 2, 2018.



Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. When you arrive at the Family Law Self-Help Center, please sign in immediately.

Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
