December 22, 2020: Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera issued five administrative orders regarding the COVID-19 public health emergency and court operations across the state. The revised administrative orders extend the Judiciary’s Phase II emergency operations through March 14, 2021, and extends the suspension of jury trials through April 23, 2021. The use of remote technology is still encouraged whenever possible and limited matters will be heard in person. The clerks’ office of the circuit courts and the offices of the administrative clerks in the District Court shall remain open to the public for emergency matters and by appointment for other matters.
